Ms. Wathsala (Owner)

 

Ms. Wathsala earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sociology from her native country

and got her first job as an Elementary school teacher by pursuing her love of teaching. She worked 11 years for the federal government of Sri Lanka as a teacher and immigrated to the USA with her family in 2008. Since then, she worked in a Montessori School in Germantown, Maryland as the lead teacher for Pre-Kindergarteners. She also is the Sunday School Child Program Coordinator at Salem United Methodist Church in Brookeville, Maryland.

 

Ms. Wathsala has taken numerous Professional Development courses through the years and obtained an Early Childhood Education from State of Maryland. She has numerous Early Childhood certifications including Child Growth and Development, Planning for Curriculum and Infant & Toddler Child Care Education from Montgomery College, Rockville Campus fulfilling the requirement for senior staff in preschool centers. She is actively engaged in professional development.

 

Ms. Wathsala received the Child Development Associate from CDA Council, Washington DC by completing all 120 hours of course requirements. She has completed all the courses required for operating a childcare center.

 

In addition to working with children she spends a lot of time speaking and participating in meetings with professionals and engaging with workshops throughout the year related to Child Development.

 

She looks forward to sharing her teaching passion and

experience to the world.

 

Ms. Sandali C. (Director)

 

Ms. Sandali graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a major in chemistry and public health science & with a minor in Spanish. Most of her summers are filled working with children in different child care centers and taking care of them as she loves working with children. She is certified to work in Early Childhood settings. She has many years experience working and caring for infants through school age children.

 

Ms. Sandali is fully certified in CPR and First Aid for infants/adults and is also a Certified Nursing Assistant through the Board of Nursing in the State of Maryland.

 

Sandali is a professional Indian Classical Dancer and loves to sing. In her spare time she can often be found performing and traveling the world.
