Bright Stars Children’s Academy

CURRICULUM AND PHILOSOPHY

We work on a creative curriculum with Montessori methods. We work with your child to have them academically prepared with everyday activities that enhance their practical life by working through problems, mastering the language of negotiations as well as mastering rules both in school and in life. Also we work with the child for a social and emotional development for the successful transition into elementary school. There will be basic math skills, pre-reading, language, pre-writing, shape and number recognition, art activities; art creative expressions, language with oral development, pre-science experiences with experiments, imaginary play activities, physical exercise; music movements and sensory enhancement to increase their self-esteem. All activities will be selected by both child and the teacher. Children with learn through play and interaction with each other. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of fun creativity, social and academic activities with as much as hands on learning experiences as possible.
